Default Top Fin Waterplants for Ponds @ PetSmart

I bought some plants at PetSmart and can't figure out how to plant
them... Real simple, they are all in the plastic carton already but I
don't know which way is up. One end has a removable lid and the other
has a oval opening... I would think the oval opening would go up...
Thanks

I planted mine that way. I got mine for like $2.00 each at the end of the
season. Nothing ever happened with any of them.
