Okay, if people are stealing your pumps, can you

A) use a non-submersible and route it so your pump is in the garage or a
shed.

B) Have you tried a motion activated light that goes off when they steal it

C) combine B with a motion activated camera.

John,
Because you are in the UK I know shipping would probably be
prohibitive for you... however, go to
to shop online::
www.aquaticeco.com.
I'm almost certain they do an international business.

Good Luck!

I would submerge my pump in the pond and stock it with something vicious,
like crocks, pirahnas or poisonous snakes. Or, just put up a sign that warns
people that there are venomous creatures living in the water.

I say remove the fish for awhile, and place a fake pump in the pond complete
with frayed wires. Plug it in of course. Maybe zap the f'ers that are
messing with your pond. Teach 'em a lesson.

Hey! Some of my hommies live in Watts! & they won't be caught dead
stealing pond pumps like a punk! Not when overpriced wheels and rides are
there for the taking!
