oh dear...water getting browner!
My water is getting browner by the week....should I just do a water
change, and make some modifications to my Skippy Filter, such as adding quilt batting to the top, under the water plants? |

Definitely water change. ~ jan It now looks like a full algae bloom, but brown instead of green. A water change is gonna get done Wednesday...will i need to put bacteria back in the filter? |

The filter will still have bacteria on it, so no bacteria needs to be added.
Declor will need to be added if you are on a public water supply. Water changes need to be done regularly, about 10% of the pond every week. This will dilute whatever is making the pond brown, chemical buildup, salt buildup, and help to make for better overall water quality. -- RichToyBox http://www.geocities.com/richtoybox/pondintro.html "Granny Grump" wrote in message ...
