I'd like to post some plans, equipment list and isometric diagrams of a
proposed pond. Where can I do this in order to get the group's feedback?

Post them on a website and share the url.
Another way is to load them as pictures to a photo site and share them
and publish that url. pBase is an example. There are many more.
I use yahoo, for example:
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cqurit.../ph//my_photos

or simply
http://snipurl.com/all5
It is supposed to be public, but I have never actually checked it out.

Check your isp service agreement. All the ones I dealt with always had free
limited web hosting.
