Frog Report
Last night youngest son reported hearing
a frog outside. Ran to the slider, eased it open and sure enough a pacific chorus/tree frog was outside singing his heart out in the frog bog! Oh joy, oh rapture! :-)))) So SE WA has frogs waking up. Since the rest of the state is having severe lack of rain problems (these fellows like to breed in fishless ponds, vernal ponds) jan and I will do our part to help them along. kathy |

I figure you have to be doing something right to attract them. I was delighted to find a tree frog (ordinary green) in a plastic container that held some rain water and was sitting next to one of the stock tank ponds. It spent all summer there last year and I'm hoping it finds its way there again this year. Gail Southcentral TX USA |
