Cutting Back This Bareroot Rose
I just bought this bareroot rose, which is soaking until tomorrow. I picked
the biggest, healthiest looking one. Do I have to cut it back. It's very green and there are small, very healthy looking buds in the area that would be cut off. It is in the forties and raining, so the weather is not going to be hot. |

The only pruning I tend to do on bareroots is obviously dead parts of canes and broken roots. And I don't often have to do that. Otherwise I leave it alone until it has had a chance to get well established in the ground. Gail San Antonio TX Zone 8 |
