Default anyone have layouts of formal garden plans?

would like to look at some formal garden plans... geometric/symmetrical
preferably.....

Planning on making some gardens and quilts to match in the not so distant
future....

most every formal garden i have found on the internet has face on photos,
not arial or topagraphical, which makes it hard for me to draft!

are there any sites/books i should hunt for? when i find one i like, I'll
be back to ask more about the roses to put in it grin

Kellie, I found this site some time ago and kept it for the Roses from the Past
plans. If I ever have a 20X40 area for planting......but they do include a
formal rose garden plan also.

(sorry the url is so long, you may have to cut and paste)

If you're interested in buying a book, you could try this one by Ortho:

I've seen some Ortho books at either Lowes or Home Depot. You might check
there first to see if the book has plans you find interesting.

Why not make your own design?
