I would think Gamble award winners such as Double Delight, SunSprite,
Mr. Lincoln, Fragrant Hour etc. You can find the list of many fragrant
roses with a Google search. I read somewhere that fragrant roses have
thick petals that hold extrs scent oils that release slowly. Old Garden
roses and Austin roses would be a good bet also. The search engines are
a real boon in finding this information, also try ars.org. Let me know
how you make out. Also I see advertised on the web various rose
fragranct oils, that may be of help.

The Importance of Fragrant Roses
What greater sense than smell can bring back a flood of memories? Who
is not happier upon entering a room and taking in the fresh, fragrant
aroma of roses in a vase, awaiting for you to smell them? When you want
to give a gift that lasts a lifetime, what better gift than a fragrant
rose that will smell the same in adulthood as in childhood?

I once had what was promised to be a Margret Merrill, it was near
odorless. Sometimes roses are mislabeled, will have to try again!
