Default What's the correct pronunciation of "Cecil Brunner"?

I've seen the spelling as Cécile Brünner, but that doesn't help me much
given
that my language knowledge is limited to English and Latin.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find anything in any of my rose books, or online - although I did
find ads for a book that specifies how to pronounce rose names. Last time I
had a French speaking friend visit, I asked her how to pronounce the French
names of some of my old garden roses. Maybe you know someone who speaks
French and can take a stab at it?

Good luck!

One of the favorites in my garden. Such a monster climber! Not sure how to
spell this, but it's pronounced Se-seal Broo-nay.

Thank you! I think your phonetic spelling is perfect.

Cécile Brünner is the proper spelling. She is a woman and is pronounced as follows: say-seal brew-nay. Exagerate the brew and the nay.
The Consulting Rosarian at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA USA asked me to spread the word on how to spell her.
The e with the acent over it is pronounced as an A. The u with the accent is a hard sound and is exagerated in the pronounciation. Very French I must say.
I actually have members of our local Society correct me, I just ignore them.
