Default Naming a rose

Could somebody please tell me how one can go about having a rose named after them? This is something that has always appealed to me.

Roses are named by the person (or company)
who breeds them. Roses have been named
after famous people, after friends and
family.

So the answer is:
(1) become famous and interest some rose
breeder in naming a rose after you. Probably
helps if you're dead at the time, but it's
not essential.
(2) marry or befriend a rose breeder
(3) breed your own roses and name them
after yourself.

(3) is probably the most likely to happen
which means, not very likely at all.
