Default banana

Banana skins are high in potassium (pot ash) which is the third value listed
on most fertilizer packages. (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium). Potassium
is associated with root development. Although it might be a bit messy, I
don't see why you couldn't use banana skins as a natural source of K+ (the
symbol for Potassium). How are you planning to increase nitrogen and
phosphorus? Here is a interesting discussion on banana skins as compost.
Hope you enjoy.
