Default transplanting a climber!!

Help! I have an Eden Climber that is receiving too much shade from a nearby
Hemlock tree(I didn't realize the tree would grow so large). Can I
transplant the rose safely? The rose branches are about 6 ft. tall and very
sparse.(Maybe due to the shade?)It's still early in the season, here in
Pa.,so I thought now would be the best time to do so,if possible. Thanks for
any help from some kind person. Sandy
