Odd tomato plants

I wasn't planning to do a container garden his year but two tomato

Container giveaway

Flowering artichokes

Bell peppers: Blossom end rot

They are planted in 5-gal containers, same as last year. Last year's
crop was terrific, this year all the peppers have blossom end rot.

AFAIK, I'm doing nothing different.

Suggestions? The heat?...
