organic or less-bad chigger killer? .... Chris

Hey Chris, I've tried the sulfur and I would just as soon scratch all
summer as to have to smell it. It just seems to make the the little
mites mad. These are not insects they are immature mites similar to
ticks and spiders. I have also tried a vinegar solution sprayed around
the yard but I don't care for the smell vinegar, though not as bad as
sulfur. Even with the poison these little creatures will be probably be
back again next year.

When I used too work on a ranch we would put flea collars on our boots
too keep ticks off. Worked pretty good, but a little worrisome for the
backyard. Around here I just spray myself with bug repellent, I do it
for the mosquitoes but it keeps the redbugs off too. It is a far simpler
solution than spraying the whole place or stinking it up.
