Fertilizer for Lantana?
 

Is it desirable to fertilize lantanas to get more numerous, healthier
blooms? I read somewhere you should not fertilize trumpet vines as that will
cause them to put their growth in their stems and leaves and may in fact
cause fewer blooms.

Most websites recommend fertilizing at planting and mid to late Summer
with a slow release 20-20-20, although one said it would reduce flowering.
Light pruning will encourage repeat blooms.
Mine grow in the Cruel Flowerbed of Neglect out back and seem to like it.
I do nothing but whack the dead growth to the ground every Spring and then
they're on their own.
