Mike,
I thought it was probably a little on the alkaline side around 6.5 but haven't been able to find any info. Thanks for your help......................................Dan "Mike Lyle" wrote in message ... ksman wrote: Does anyone know the best soil ph level for growing tall purple phlox in my garden? Pam,
Would you think ph of 6.8 would be OK? Thanks for letting me know about your phlox............................................. .....................Dan in the USA "Pam Moore" wrote in message ... Thank you Brian,
I always thought they needed slightly alkaline so I'll get it up around 6.8 and let you know what happens. Thanks again....................................Dan "Brian" --- 'flayb' to respond wrote in message ... "Pam Moore" wrote in message ... Most good plants want the pH around 6. Weeds do very well 8 and above,
blueberries do best between 4.5 and 5.5. Some flowers change colors when the pH changes (blue in acidic and pink in alkaline). Dwayne "ksman" wrote in message news:ReRFe.1286$mu6.158@okepread04... Does anyone know the best soil ph level for growing tall purple phlox in my garden? Dan |
