Pruna tree question
 

I planted a pruna tree in my garden a week ago and have followed the instructions given to the t. However when my tree gets wet either from my garden sprinkler or from the rain (which in the NE we get alot of) it is flopping...should I worry about this?

Any advice would be gratefully received. :)

Could it simply be the weight of water on the leaves? Do they perk up
once they're dry?

Yes Mike I think it is, but it always rains here and I am a little concerned about it always being weighed down like that...will it be ok? :)

No, nature can handle it! There may be areas too wet for ornamental
prunus to flourish perfectly, as they do like some sun; but I don't
know about that.

A tip, if you're using Google Groups. Instead of clicking Reply,
you can click Show options, then the Reply which appears at the
bottom of the header which appears. That way, you'll be able to edit
and display the message you're replying to. I use [...] to show if
I've cut the previous messages.

Hi again Mike....it is in a really sunny part of the garden most of my garden gets sun all or a least some of the day...but since I planted imy tree, it hasn`t stopped raining....but if you think it can handle it ,that`s great! Thanks for your help. :)
