This is a nesgroup, not a 'site'. It's Usenet, not WWW.

Dunk the pot in water if you haven't already done so, and when the
soil/compost is thoroughly wet, remove it and allow the pot to drain.
(Wisely, perhaps you haven't said how *MANY* days...)

Keep the plant in shade, and for a couple of days place a large
perforated plastic bag over it to keep up the humidity round it.

It was given to me just last month by my best friend for my

Yers - it's difficult to explain neglect like that, even if it was
purely an oversight. Chillis like plenty of moisture (but not
waterlogging) and plenty of nutrients, and if the plant has survived,
and I'd expect it to, you'd do well to pamper it a bit to console it.

Even if all the leaves shrivel and fall off, don't despair, new growth
should appear pretty quickly, and given plenty of sun after this has
begun, it should be little the worse for its ordeal.

I have a very bad feeling its a gonna.... will post a pic as soon as
photobucket.com is back up...
