B & Q Turf

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences of using B & Q turf?

Just wondering whether to risk it as the cheaper option, or to go through
one of the specialist on line turf suppliers.

Thanks

Andrew

There is another option. Phone one of your local turf suppliers.

Definitely to be advocated. Not only will it be freshly delivered, you have
comeback to a person you know/talk to/meet. And I have never been
over-impressed with the way large stores care for plants!

Blimey, quick responses, thanks guys!

I had a look at the turf in B & Q yesterday and it looked a bit on the dry
side.

I'll have a look for turf suppliers in the Leeds area, thanks.

I bought a few turf's from a Wyvale GC, to repair my lawn. They were yellow,
hence the Half Price label.

I gave them a good watering after they were laid, that afternoon, and they
greened up within a week. I kept them watered during the dry spells and they
are now rooted and growing strongly.
