Fresh horse manure question
I have just collected the first of several loads of horse manure,
consisting of straw and chaff as well as horse droppings. Owing to the weather of late it is quite dry. When I have finally completed my heap am I best watering before covering or leaving as is? -- Please do not reply to this Email address All Emails are deleted upon receipt. |

I always finish off "completed" compost heaps with a liberal baptism of a couple of buckets of high-nitrogen activation liquid such as dilute urine or nettle/comfrey liquid. Then cap it off with a rain-proof cover. Janet. Do you use the 'nigh****er' variety |
