Default Lawn sweepers

I do not know if this a correct forum for this question. If not, please
advice me about the correct one.

I need a lawn sweeper. I have a 40" Murray lawn mower with a collecting bags
but they do not fit good enough for this model. The bags would need a
special designed cutting unit (under the mower). I believe the sweeper would
be a better sollution.

The question is: How wide (32", 36", 38" or 40") should the sweeper be AND
should it be the standard (1:4,5) or high speed model (1:8)? Sweeper are
usually equiped with 4 times 10" brush and models wider than 32" with some
larger weels. We have sand walk ways and some Siperian Larch with some oak
trees etc. at our yard. Our lawns are not nearly so even than in UK.

Thank You for answering in advance.
