Ashes to Ahes

I have a new brasier (spelling?) and have used it a lot. Now its over
half full of ash.

Is it safe to dump this, and dig it into the vegtable plot?

Thanks
Steve Newport

Ash tends to be sticky when wet. (Assuming it's vegetable matter like
twigs, paper and leaves).

As long as it isn't mixed with other household things like plastics and
batteries and so-on, it won't do a lot of harm, and most trees and
shrubs will delight in it.

It would be best IMO to add it to a compost heap though.

(Brazier, BTW)
