Birch species differences

Does anybody know how long after Betula Pendula (the basic British
Silver Birch) that B Utilis Jacqemonti's (Himalayan Birch) come into
leaf?

I have one of each and the B Pendula's buds broke 12-13 days ago, with
leaves now half inch or so across and nascent catkins. But the BUJ (Snow
Queen) still hasn't moved. Both were container grown and planted last
September.

I took a trip to Aylett's and their trees show the same pattern. Nobody
their seemed certain.

Anyone know?

I've never timed it, but I would guess that 2 or 3 weeks would be
about right, though it would depend a little on the weather in
between.

Cheers. Looks like the B Pendula might have jumped the gun a bit. The
colder weather seems to have prompted it to stop and have a think.
