Daffodils in Pots
All my daffodils are in pots. I normally throw them away after they
have flowered as I find that they are all blind if I try to use them again. Is there any way, feeding etc, that I can keep them and make sure they flower again next year? |

Have a look at this:http://www.flowerfarm.co.uk/daffodils_aftercare.htm I presume you use fresh bulb compost every year? -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon |
Daffodils in Pots
I grow some daffs and quite a few Tulips in pots; I leave them in the
pot all year, but I find the secret is when they come into bud, feed them. A high potash feed is best - something like tomato feed with an NKP of 15:15:30 is good. Apply at half strength weekly for 4 weeks or until the leaves begin to decay. Clifford Bawtry, Doncaster, South Yorkshire |
