Hello out there. I am very new to all this so I hope someone can help me. My cat keeps pooing and weeing on my lawn. Any ideas to stop him doing it?

Not tooooo much or it will burn to a cinder, after all it tastes like Rabbit
and you don't want to waste a good meal do you?

Some stuff I used on my lawn to deter the cats (until I built a raised
garden they then went and used) was camphor scented saw dust. You can buy it
here (new zealand) and I imagine it is something you can get in Britain from
a hardware store or a supermarket. From memory it cost me $8-9 for a 300g
approx tin. It was quite pricey for what it was but seemed to work. I saw no
ill effect on sminal or plant life. Every month or so it needed to be
renewed and more often furing rainy seasons. Some people get a little
excited about camphor (same thing as mothballs) and toddlers. Note thtis is
not mothballs but scented sawdust although you need to be the judge on
safety if you have little children. Alternately, you may be able to buy
camphor oil (wouldn't know eher though) and scent your own sawdust.

A troll started the cat thread - just look at the 'common sense' of the
content! We have an idiot here who starts cat threads when he's bored
with counting his brain cells - it doesn't take long to do that, you
see. Ignore it.

Build a small sandpit, let the cat find it, then invite the noisy kids
from down the road to build sandcastle. Two birds, one stone.

Lol I like it, you could do what I normally do and just use the water hose and give them a good old spray :)

I find it very difficult to type and think at the same time. I can think

Well..your imagination has deceived you :-) Never seen or heard of it
(other than camphor balls for linen storage).

All year round is the rainy season in the UK. For that reason, any
scent-deterrents only last a matter of days and have to be replaced very
often. This may be the reason why camphor scented sawdust is not
marketed here. :-0

It rains here as well, and rains and rains and rains. It also seems to sell
quite well.
