Grape hyancinths

I seem to have these little beggars all over the garden now, in the cracks,
in the beds, even in the pots and things. They've been popping up all over
the place. I'm wondering if I should take some action to stop them before
they spread further, but probably don't want to eradicate them entirely,
although maybe it wouldn't be such a sad thing if they all went. What
should I do?

I love them, so would never want to get rid of them. But if you must,
just pull up the bulbs you don't want and give them away to other
people but try to leave the leaves on to die back naturally in pots of
soil or compost. Otherwise, mark where they are before they die back,
leave them to do so and then dig them up and pas them on to others.

Thanks. I probably won't get rid of them all, just try to confine them to a
small area. Good idea to give them to somebody else. They just seemed to
spend a lot of time looking like grass, and then the flowers aren't
particularly exciting when they come.

Depending on your soil you might need to take a harder line.
Don't let them seed!
Really don't let them seed!
Put the leaves on your compost heap but never the bulbs.
Offer them to others only if you cope well with ridicule.
