The upper branches of my Acer have failed to produce any leaves this year after growing really well for years. The lower part of the tree is fine any suggestions

The lower part of the tree is fine any suggestions My guess is that it's been 'caught' by wind or perhaps, frost. Acers loathe to be in windy spots and the finer the leaves the worse that problem is. They hate to be over-watered, too, so don't be tempted, will you?! If it's in a pot, move it to a less windy area, a sheltered one, in fact. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon |
