Lavender

Why .........

are two Lavender Bushes, both in pots, one either side of a path, both in
full sunshine pointing their flower heads in opposite directions? Both are
in full sun and the sun is coming from the South, of course, but one plant
has its heads pointing East, the other pointing West.

Both receiving the same breeze.

Both in identical pots.

Both pots level ;-)

They have an inate sense of symetry, and feel that your path would look
better if they leaned in opposite direction.
Lavenders are considerate, that way.

Easy! They're obviously ignoring each other.

No sorry, they were in 'opposite directions in relation to East West', but
were in fact pointing towards each other, if you see what I mean ;-)).

The pot on the left had the flowers pointing right, with the pot on the
right's flowers pointing left. Neither toards the sun!

Both now in the shade with flower buds facing South West whilst the sun is
rising in the East. (Usually does actually;-)
