Default Acer Pink Flamingo

Planted this about 2 months ago, and it seems happy enough as it's putting
new growth on. I'm just a little concerned as some of the lower leaves are
going yellow. Not a huge number, but just enough to make me a little
worried.

In addition it says it's frost hardy, but I'm just outside Glasgow so we
have wet, windy and cold winters so wonder if I'd be best fleecing it to
protect it a little. I've got an acer palmatum in a pot that suffered a
little last winter (the tips of a couple of branches got frosted) so I'd
already planned to put fleece round this (as well as moving the pot to a
more sheltered location).
