Newbie - advice please on whether to buy huge garden!

The message
from Hussein M. contains these words:

(snip) this jaw droppingly insidious admonishment disturbed
me so much I couldn't let it go - no matter how hard I tried.

Pot and black! Other people seldom find postscript offtopic
quotations/sigs as wise/interesting/amusing as their users suppose.

Grow a little garden

Thanks for the advice.

Have put in an offer on the house, just got to find a buyer who is
"proceedable", in the horrible language of the house market.

Will let you know how it goes.

Some of our neighbours have had to change their planting habits since we
moved in. They don't object to now being able to plant "full sun" plants
in their back gardens, but I have a feeling that the loss of the 60' out
of control Leylandii killed off a few hostas :)

When taking them down a peg, all the advice given was damn good in this
thread and when I did it. I kept about half the material and hired the
biggest shredder the local hire centre would do to bag it up and mulch
it. This year it looks usable in the main. It was a lot of hard work
though. I removed some of the stumps to fit in a shed and greenhouse
(which take up less space than the confifers did).

With a 40' longer plot than I have you'll certainly have room for a
couple of different styled sections and places to hide a shed and
greenhouse too.

Good luck with the offer and we hope to see the photos as the garden
progesses in much the same way as I keep meaning to write a few pages
about ours so far :)
