I find (;-) the web based plantfinder on the rhs site just fine, is there
any advantage to the paper/CD version?

Not for casual reference, but it can be helpful for in-depth research.

Having tried all three, I still prefer the book - it's so much quicker
to grab off the bookshelf than access the internet version or load the
CD....... and it travels out into the summerhouse for browsing so much
more easily:-)

Well the book version is the only one you can throw in the car when you go
on holiday, or out for the day.
I have an old copy that lives there.

My old copies always end up in the greenhouse for checking spellings of
plant names for labels! :~)

g Me too. Also for helping out customers [1] who are looking for
specific plants - it's amazing how many people have never heard of the
Plant Finder.

[1] after telling them it's last years copy & may not be accurate -
better than nothing though.
