Tomato problems

This is a question that no doubt has been asked many times before, but her it
is again.
When I came back from holidays my outdoor plants had developed black stain
marks on the main stem and stained wilted leaves and not looking in a very
good condition.
Fortunately the fruit have developed well and gradualy cropping.
It appears to be the gardenersdelight that is affected most but the
Moneymakers are also getting more affected.
Shold I continue to feed or just wait untill the fruit ripen and are ther
any precautions I can take next year

Sounds like the start of blight but I could be wrong.
