Been offline for a while but now back and find this newsgroup seems to have
gone downhill in that there are off topic posts, flaming, porn in fact not
the ng I seem to recall. Ok there was a little banter at times but now I
think there is a good case for moderation.

Mainly, we get a lot of posts from people in other ng's who are
trolling. These posts are easily avoided. Stay with it.

I'm sure it will settle down again. There are some weeds which are easy to
pull up and short-lived, and some which take many years of great effort but
may eventually be banished.

Some wild corners are always welcome in the best of gardens. The best
results are to pull up the borring lawn and let a few colourful species
to settle in and you have a peaceful world of colours and the best of
atmosphere.
