Wooden sided "raised beds"
On a newish housing estate near here there are a number of raised beds made
from pre-cut wood. I'd say the wood sections are about 3" or 4" square in cross-section and about 4' long. The ends are cut so as to form a sort of "cross halving" joint and seem to have a hole in them for a metal peg with a large head. Anyone know who makes these, or something similar? TIA Brian |

No., but they can be made very easily with scrap wood for half the cost of a
fabricated one. "Brian Reay" wrote in message ... On a newish housing estate near here there are a number of raised beds made from pre-cut wood. TIA Brian I think this is what you mean? http://www.harrodhorticultural.com/H...ds/GDN-750.htm Probably excellent but the price---for that sort of money you could have fresh veg delivered daily from anywhere in the world:-) |
