Potato Day in Manchester
 

Hulme Community Garden Centre is holding its annual Potato Day on
Sunday 25th February 2007 11-5pm. Approximately 30 varieties of
organic seed potato will be on sale by the tuber. Alan Romans (author
of 'The Potato Book') will be on hand to answer any spud related
questions. Hot and cold refreshments, including delicious homemade
soup, available throughout the day. Also organic veg and herb seed,
fruit trees and bushes, onion sets, garlic, rhubarb, asparagus and a
wide selection of pot grown herbs. Locally coppiced beanpoles, peat
free compost, well rotted horse manure etc.
