Citrus in the UK

An orange and a grapefruit, both from pips. now 5 years old. In a pot but
absolutely going mad this year! Fingers crossed for flowers.....

The strange thing? They've been outside, unprotected for 3 years now here in
Folkestone. The cold doesn't seem to do much except drop a few leaves, it's
the slugs and snails that do the most damage.

Things are definitely changing....

Wet roots in the cold will do more damage than anything.

Much milder winters, I agree but still pretty wet this side of the UK.
