Please help me identify a stunning tree, seen in newmarket suffolk. Looks like a lilac blossom but not as thick. all up the trunk where knots have formed it bears a darker purple smaller flower in masses. thanks sheryl

Not only did this tree have blossom on the trunk but it also had other blossom which was a lighter shade of purple? could this still be a Judas tree? The name of the tree sounds appropriate for a church yard! thanks for replying Sheryl |
