Best food for pumpkins

My pumpkin plants are about a foot high at the moment. What should I
feed them? Is tomato food good for them?

Not yet, wait until they have grown a bit and start to flower. Now you can
use any balanced garden feed, seaweed extract, chicken poo pellets...
