..........who used to go fishing & drinking with his mates, but he's now lost
to the world of gardening.

It all started by some mustard & cress his children had grown out of a
yoghurt pot with a funny face painted on it, but he didn't want to be
out-done by them, so as they say " the rest is history ! "

Its got that bad he's even taking photos of other peoples greenhouses !!! so
he can improve on his own.

The Friday night beer night at the local used to be discussing about the one
that got away, the size of fish & what bait to use, now its the size of his
cucumbers & whether his compost is doing ok & comparing the size of his
runner bean plants & praying we don't get a frost as his tommys might die.

Slugs were just snails without shells & left to get on with their lives, to
him they have now become the sworn enemy, the Darth Vader of the gardening
world, who he wastes good beer on !!!!

He's now taken to "borrowing" vegetables from the out-laws because he cant
stand to see their runners doing better then his................. sad sad
times !!!!

surely there's some sort of help he can get before it truly is too late (

your endless stories of the one that got away and needed to find stimulation
elsewhere?
