Broad Beans Blown Over

In the high winds last night about a third of my broad beans (now in flower)
were blown over. Should I try to right them and tie them to stakes or are
they best left in there new horizontal positions?

thanks, Davy

Best to right them and tie them to stakes, but be gentle otherwise you
may damage them at ground level. Try one or two for a start and see how
they respond to your activity. Also, firm the soil gently around their
base.

Yes, I righted the broken broad bean plants and tie them up. Although the
hollow stems seemed ripped, the plants recovered well.
