Default Runner beans

Have just done the rounds of my wigwam of runners and given the few aphis
their Saturday night bath of soft soap solution and I'm glad to say that I'm
going to pick the first beans for tomorrow's lunch.

This, I consider is very much thanks to my growing them throught large holes
cut in the bottoms of 8 inch inverted plastic flower pots screwed about an
inch into the ground to protect the plants from cold weather earlier in the
year and ensure that regular watering and feeding goes straight to their
roots.

But of course, some could not see the advantages of this method of growing
them.

Remember this for next year.

Regards

Geoff
