Could it be an Erythrina? Just asked friends from Oz who are staying with me and that was a thought/name they came up with. Thank you so much Jennifer. Uncle is galivanting in the north of Africa and I was doing a lot of garden visits (including Tatton which was one of the best I've seen in a long time - recommended highly!) I've looked at the Erythrina and the leaves are different but the flowers spot on. I'll look at different viriety and see what Uncle think. Thanks again :o) |
