Hope you're ok.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow (Tuesday is eye 2, isn't it?)

Thinking about you!

I've been lurking on this group for a couple years now. I
live on a boat and have recently been allowed gardening
access to a friend's yard. You all have provided us with
countless good advice and our gardening adventure has been,
on the whole, very successful. But there is nothing better
than getting online and finding one of Maddie's rambles to
savour. Since she has given me so many hours of enjoyment
I'd really like to help at least get her back online. So if
someone is organizing something I'd like to be included.
Please email me.

Thanks Klara. 10 a.m. EST 3 p.m. UK time for you when I go under the
other knife......right eye is sharp at a distance and feels like a
boulder is in there.......might take some time to adjust to the FEEL of
the lens they put behind me retina. I will definitely need prescription
glasses once the left eye is healed though. I can't see a bloody thing
up close! It absolutely FREAKS me out! and I'm losing my internet due
to lack of responsibility lately.....................I should cross post
my letter to my garden friends............sigh........... thanks for
your concerns and care. My love and hugs to you lady. (by the way, I
have BLUSTER BEETLES eating my Japanese anemone right
now.....................

I did pretty well Judith. The eye healed up remarkably fast
considering. the biggest problem right now is they've removed the right
lense to my glasses which are tri-focals (I'm almost bloody blind!!!!
LOL) because I can see very well almost 20-20 far away, but my close up
(farsightedness, and why is it OPPOSITE??? must be a MAN thing!) is
shot fulla holes. With the cataract growing at mach speed and past the
ripe phase, I'm now almost blind in the left eye. Now I tell people I'm
three way blind..............then add that they're shutting off my
internet because I was irresponsible...........OY VEY!!! my love to you
friends across the pond. I'll see about going to the local library to
access the newsgroup, I hope. sigh..........

Will think of you at 3 our time! And otherwise too, because I may have
missed the details (been working 24/7 for too long now), but I did get
the impression from little things you said that things just aren't too
well with you just now, and not just the eyes! Things do have a way of
working out, though, often in way you'd least expect! Just don't let it
get you down: keep your thinking positive - in spite of all the
self-help gurus, it really does make all the difference!
Hoping that you'll ramble long in Faerie Holler, and with eyes to see
the tiniest of varmints!
