Garden tool identification please
 

I bought this little garden hand tool today because it "looks useful" and it
was cheap. Unfortunately I don't know what it is intended for? It is sharp
on the two outer flat sides, blunt inside the curve and has a pointy hook.
Anyone know what it is?

Thanks Mike. Looks like I need to buy some paving slabs to go with it!

I bought something similar in Spain a few years ago but it is
sharpened on the inside surface and the bottom, takes a long handle
and is great for getting ay brambles , you can hook into the roots and
cut as you pull.
