Default 'Breath of Heaven'

Some years ago, in California, we encountered a lovely shrub at Lotusland
called Breath of Heaven. I never did get the proper name but its scent was
gorgeous. Does anyone know what Californians mean by Breath of Heaven?

Thank you, Martin. Now I need to find out of it will survive here. My
guess is it would be okay in a pot outside in summer but probably not in
winter but I'll do a bit of digging for that.
