Winter flowering plants
Just a suggestion to those who haven't got them - you might like to plant a
Sarcococca or a Lonicera purpusii for winter scent in your garden. The Sarcococca isn't a large shrub but its tiny white flowers create the most wonderful perfume in the winter garden. A couple of sprigs in the house perfume it wonderfully. I'm mentioning it now because I've lost count of the times people smell ours and say "oh blast, I meant to plant one of those last year....." ;-)) -- Sacha http://www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove weeds from address) 'We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.' |
