Default Planting garlic

Planted about 75 garlic cloves this afternoon.
It has been a pleasant day and the soil responded
well. They should have plenty of time to get
established before the harsh weather of February.
Garlic is a delicious ingredient to savoury cooking
and has been consumed for thousands of years.
It is also healthy eating.
True it is difficult to conceal when in conversion
but we have a simple solution to that:-
Annie eats it too.

Planted mine middle of October. Can't stand the stuff myself but the
wife likes it and it keeps the vampires away. (I'm in northern Germany,
about 1,000 km closer to Transylvania than you.)

I also planted winter onion sets for the first time at the same as the
garlic. They're looking OK.

Regards

Yup, me too. It looked lovely out so I took the opportunity. I'm glad I did,
we had a sharp frost overnight!
