Am I too late to plant daffodils and narcissi?

I know it's not ideal, but am I too late to plant daffodil and
narcissi bulbs for this year?

In case it's relevant we live in Hungerford, central South of England.

Thanks

James

You can do it! Just lift a clod and shove 'em in. Don't finesse too much
about it. IME as a total 'how is the easiest way to do this because it
bores me witless', is that somehow or other they survive my personal
threshold of boredom. ;-)

I was given one of those core cutter type bulb planting tools. Fantastic on
the soft turf we had in Norfolk. Useless on the stony soil here in N Yorks.
