Next door they have hanging on a tree one of those orange net bags of
bird feed. I notice this morning that the bag is a mass of greenery
where the mild and wet weather has enabled many of the seeds to
germinate.

Is it worth drying off some of this for *ahem* smoking purposes?

I doubt it. The seeds you hope they are would probably be hemp rather than
cannabis. And in any case you'd have to grow the plant to full size to get
anything worth smoking.

You could eat the seed sprouts in a salad though.
