Well here we are again, nearly midnight and 2 OAP,s senior citizens,
grandees, well whatever we are called these days...
Sitting with 2 dogs looking out of the patio windows waiting foir the
hedhehog to reappear and finish his plate of food.
Last year during August we had regular nightly visits frorm a hedgehog, for
about 6 weeks, a week ago the same hedgehog suddenly appeared, setting off
the security light, we have a small light outside the patio windows s/he
doesnt seem to mind it, we are putting cat or dog food out nightly, comes
looking for food, then gets half way through, goes behind top pond header
pool, has rest and comes back to finish the rest.
Comes as close as a foot or so within the windows, have captured some video
on webcam, hope we dont feed too well, want him/her to clear slugs etc from
my garden
Aint nature Wonderfull.
Regards

A body can only take so much excitment :-)

We were in bed. Hedgehogs can't get into this garden and we haven't a patio
but we have lots of different slugs!

Hi
Our Hostas are pretty well untouched, thanks to hedgehog no doubt.
The only slugs I have seen are other posters replying to this thread,
Did have badgers getting into our garden last year, perhaps they will keep
away as they are the only real predator of hedgehogs.
After posting My wife and I went off to bed, about 2 am were woken by
scratching sound at back door, thought we had left a dog out , went to
investigate and found hedgehog running from door to his plate seemingly
waiting for more food. Cheeky blighter.
regards
